Terms of Service

Use License

Permission is granted to use PizzaParty.menu for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
• Use the service to transmit malicious code or spam
• Impersonate another user or person
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Script, automate, or otherwise attempt to circumvent rate limits or fair-use caps on AI features

User Content

You retain all rights to the content you create on PizzaParty.menu (pizza recipes, menus, party information, images, and any other text or media you submit). By using our service, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service.

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and consents to any content you submit, including images you upload. You are responsible for ensuring that your content:

• Does not infringe any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, or other intellectual property right
• Is not defamatory, harassing, threatening, or invasive of another person's privacy
• Does not contain another person's personal information submitted without their consent
• Does not contain sexually explicit material, nudity, gratuitous violence, hate speech, or content that exploits or endangers minors

We may remove or refuse any content at our discretion, with or without notice, if we believe it violates these terms or could create risk for us or other users.

You agree to indemnify and hold PizzaParty.menu harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, including claims that it infringes the rights of any third party.

AI Features

PizzaParty.menu offers AI-assisted features such as menu import, name and description suggestions, prep and cooking instructions, and ingredient quantity recommendations. These features are provided on a best-effort basis. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purposes.

You are responsible for any content you submit to our AI features, including menu images and text. By submitting such content, you represent that you own it or have all necessary rights to submit it for processing by us and our third-party AI providers.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it. Our food-safety disclaimer in the Disclaimer section below applies in full to AI-suggested quantities, prep steps, and timing.

Free accounts include a monthly AI generation allowance that resets at the start of each calendar month. We may adjust this allowance, apply fair-use limits, or temporarily restrict access to AI features in response to clearly abusive usage patterns.

Subscriptions and Billing

We offer a paid subscription plan that unlocks expanded AI usage. Current pricing and plan details are shown on our pricing page. By starting a subscription, you authorize recurring charges to your chosen payment method until you cancel.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account's subscription management page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until that date. We do not provide refunds for partial or unused periods of an active subscription.

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge for a short grace period before downgrading your account to the free tier. We may change our prices or plan structure from time to time; any changes will apply only to future billing periods and will be communicated to you in advance.

The paid tier is offered as "unlimited under fair use." We may apply limits, throttle, or restrict access to AI features for accounts that exceed reasonable use or show signs of automated or abusive behavior. Billing is processed by Stripe; you can manage your payment method and billing history through the Stripe-hosted Customer Portal linked from your account.

Sharing and Guest Access

When you share a party menu link with guests, you understand that:

• Anyone with the link can view your party menu and make their picks
• You are responsible for managing who has access to your party links
• Guest picks are visible only to you as the host, not to other guests

Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time.

PizzaParty.menu provides tools for planning pizza parties but is not responsible for:

• The accuracy of recipe information or ingredient measurements
• Food safety or preparation methods
• Dietary restrictions or allergies
• The accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content, including suggested ingredient quantities, prep timing, and recipe descriptions
• The outcome of your pizza party

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PizzaParty.menu and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the service.

In any case, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amounts you paid to PizzaParty.menu in the twelve months preceding the claim. If you have not made any payments, our total liability shall not exceed $10 USD.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately and without prior notice if you materially breach these Terms, including but not limited to: fraud or misuse of the service, abuse of AI features, uploading content that violates these Terms, or conduct that creates legal or reputational risk for PizzaParty.menu. In such cases, no refund will be issued for any remaining subscription period.

If we terminate your account for reasons unrelated to your conduct, you will retain access to the service through the end of your current billing period. No partial or prorated refund will be issued, but your access will continue until that date.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon deletion, your right to use the service will immediately cease and all associated data will be permanently removed.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Minor changes (such as typo corrections, clarifications, or additions that do not reduce your rights) take effect immediately upon posting.

Material changes (including price increases, new restrictions on use, changes to liability terms, or changes to how we handle your data) will be posted at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the current version was published. The effective date of material changes will be stated in the updated Terms when applicable.

Your continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to a material change, you may delete your account before the effective date.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
